The Quiogue Association is the community based organization that represents the interests of the residents of Quiogue to the governments of the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County and the State. In order to be a member of the Quiogue Association you must be a home owner in the Hamlet. Dues for membership are presently $40.00 per household. The Annual Meeting is usually held during the summer at the Presbyterian Church Auditorium on Main Street in Quiogue. At that meeting the election of Governors of the Board is held and matters of community interest are presented. We usually have presentations by elected representatives of the Town, County, State and Federal governments, and individuals from community organizations like the Peconic Baykeeper, and other environmental protection agencies. Other meetings are held on an as needed basis throughout the year.

  • Preservation of the overall quality of life in this historic area of Long Island.
The Quiogue Association has been responsible for the designation of land between the airport and the hamlet as a Planned Development District dedicated to preservation and development as a community recreational area. They have been successful in getting the Town of Southampton to sponsor a study of the history of quiogue by local historians. As a result of the documentation of the History of Quiogue, the Town of Southampton has designated Quiogue as a "Hamlet Heritage Area" and has posted signs on the major byways citing the designation.
